Q1: CAN I PLACE THE OVEN INSIDE MY PORCH?
NO -This unit is designed for outdoor use only and should not be used within any confined space without proper ventilation. The unit may be stored in a covered/enclosed space when completely cool. Caution must be taken when using this unit. ONLY USE IN A PROPERLY VENTILATED AREA. DO NOT, operate the unit with close proximity to any potentially flammable sources or near building or structures. Keep children and pets away from unit when in use and until fully cooled.
Q2: HOW DO I STORE MY OVEN?
Once your PINNACOLO Pizza Oven has completely cooled, we would suggest that you use the available, properly designed cover to protect your oven, also available at Patio Sanctuary. Also, once completely cool, you can also store your oven within an enclosed garage or storage shed to protect it from the elements.
Q3: DO I NEED HELP FOR ASSEMBLY?
You do not require any special or technical skills to assemble your PINNACOLO Pizza Oven. You will only need a STAR (Phillips) Screwdriver and a 10mm or an adjustable wrench for the 2 nuts that must be used to secure the handle assembly to the door. Since the domed cooking section is shipped assembled, with the cooking stones already in position, we suggest a minimum of 2 people working in coordination to raise the dome, maintaining it in a level position, to avoid damaging the stones. In most cases, other than support for raising the domed cooking section, the unit can be assembled by 1 person in 30 – 40 minutes.
Q4: WHAT TYPE OF WOOD SHOULD I USE?
Your PINNACOLO Pizza Oven is designed for use with Hardwoods including maple, oak, ash, hickory, walnut, birch, and beech. NEVER use wood that has sap – like pine – in your oven. Never use any wood that has been chemically treated. Fruitwood including; apple, cherry, plum, almond, pear, hickory, maple, pecan, mesquite, chestnut, avocado, alder, apricot, and nectarine can also be used. We do suggest these are used in moderation and combined with other hardwoods to avoid overwhelming the flavor of whatever it is you are cooking.
Q5: HOW DOES THE UNIT GET SHIPPED?
Your PINNACOLO Pizza Oven is shipped in a specifically designed carton that protects the unit from damage during transit. The weight of the oven (200lbs w/packaging) is slightly above the maximum weight and will be delivered by a freight delivery service using liftgate service which permits the driver to lower the unit to ground level, it would be your responsibility to move the oven from the curb to its final destination. If you need additional assistance called "white glove assistance" please let us know and we can obtain quotes for you.
Q6: HOW DO I LIGHT MY OVEN?
If you have previously lit a fire in the oven, clean out the ash from the previous cook. We recommend that you use extremely dry kindling approximately 6 inches long. Place a flame starter in the middle of your oven. Create a small log cabin by intertwining and layering your kindling around your fire starter. Depending on the size of your kindling, multiple fire starters might be needed. We do NOT recommend using a combination of gas and wood. Choose one method only each time.
Q7: CAN I TAKE THE UNIT OFF THE BASE?
While the unit is shipped with the base, which needs to be assembled, it can be installed on a surface that is both physically strong enough and designed to support the oven. Take into account, the unit comes complete with an ash drawer that is positioned and accessed from the rear. This ash drawer is physically below the base of the dome cooking area and would need to be taken into account when designing an alternate base.

Order Confirmation:
As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail and/or phone. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment once the payment has been approved by our fraud prevention system.

If your order is stock and we then process the charges to your credit card, it will ship between one to five business days from the date of your order, but we strive to have it sent as quickly as possible from the warehouse. We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive tracking information from us within 2 business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at support@patiosanctuary.com.

Orders are shipped mainly via Fed Ex Ground, UPS Ground, USPS, and sometimes other reputable Freight Companies to the lower 48 states.

Shipping is free on all items over $200, however the products that require freight LTL shipping, also known as lift gate, are delivered curbside, NOT to your front door or to the final destination within your home (such as the backyard) If you require extra assistance to move the item to it's final destination, such as white-glove service, please let us know and we can make recommendations.

Freight shipping costs are included/free with any order going ground to the lower 48 states. HI & AK ship by AIR or SEA at additional cost. Please contact us before purchasing if you live outside of the lower 48 states to receive a quote on the additional charge.

We do not offer Cash On Delivery.

A phone number will be required by the freight company so a delivery appointment can be made. Your order won't be delivered until the freight company has spoken to you and set up an appointment. Failure to provide a phone number at the time of order may cause a delay in delivery.

Any incorrect contact information provided at the time of checkout (i.e address, phone number) that causes a delay in delivery, may cause additional storage fees to be accrued prior to delivery and must be paid by the purchaser.

Damages

Please carefully inspect the packaging of your item when it arrives. Please take photos of all sides the box if possible. If there is any immediately noticeable damage, you must make note of it when signing for delivery.
If the carton arrives with the contents exposed/visible, REFUSE SHIPMENT, sign the carrier's paperwork and write "Carton damaged and refused" on it. Take photos if possible and please notify Patio Sanctuary immediately. We will work with the freight company to have it returned and another unit shipped out ASAP.

On the rare occasion the delivery company damages your item, please write "damaged" when signing the driver's bill and please send photos to support@patiosancyuary.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf. Customer service and your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us so every effort will be made to correct the situation.
Returns/Cancellations

We allow you to return all new, unused items in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a refund MINUS the original AND return shipping costs incurred by Patio Sanctuary.

A restocking fee between 15%-35% will also be incurred and varies from supplier to supplier. Return condition must be in the original packaging/crating from the factory. If the return is not shipped in the original packaging/crating a refund will NOT be given. No exceptions. Refunds are issued only to the original credit card used.

If your return is because of our error, you will be not responsible for the shipping costs.

As these items are generally expensive to ship, we ask that you please measure to make sure the item you are purchasing will fit in your designated space.

If you received COMPLIMENTARY BONUS ITEMS with your purchase, you will be refunded the order amount, minus return shipping, minus the bonus item cost.
