Founded in 1934 by Gunther Schwank, the visionary inventor of gas infrared technology, Schwank Inc. brought its patented concept to life with a commitment to craft the most efficient heaters on Earth for industrial and outdoor patio uses. Initially located in Cologne, Germany, this family-run business expanded its operations across Europe before relocating to North America and opening up a factory in Toronto, Canada and subsequently in 1981, its US facility in Waynesboro, Georgia.
